We are excited to announce that due to unprecedented growth in freight and customs clearance volumes that are greater than anticipated. Trafertir has now acquired a new logistics facility in Basildon, Essex to manage both current and future demands whilst providing our valued partners and clients with an in house one-stop-shop for all your supply chain needs.

Our new site provides Trafertir with greater, centralised capacity for onsite ETSF customs warehousing, customs clearance and next day pallet distribution via our in-house transport network.

In addition, the new facility also provides greater warehousing and logistics services together with our cloud based – Customer facing WMS system that provides real time stock management.

The requirement for further expansion is ahead of the transition from CHIEF to CDS as from 1^st October 2022, as such our increased ETSF storage facility is available to cope with substantial increases in volumes predicted and allow freight and vehicles to be fast – tracked though ports of arrival to ensure a seamless supply chain and avoid unnecessary delays.
