Customs (Bonded) Warehousing & CFSP
Trafertir offer a customs ‘bonded’ warehouse solution for importers that wish to import and hold goods in storage whilst duty and VAT is suspended. This provides a cash flow benefit for the importers as import taxes are only paid once the goods are dispatched from the customs warehouse.
Trafertir also have a CFSP facility, allowing simplified declarations to be made for goods placed into the customs warehouse procedure. This can speed up the clearance process because a reduced data set is required to move goods from the entry port to the warehouse.
Trafertir will only act as a Direct Representative when completing any documents, either on behalf an importer, exporter, forwarder or transport company.

Our Warehousing team works seamlessly in conjunction with our Customs Clearance department. This enables us to import your goods and store them until such time as the goods are released and cleared. We can also arrange payment of import duty and VAT via our deferment account ensuring there are no unnecessary delays in regards to clearance.
