The basic question is are my goods insured? Well the answer is No! Trafertir believe in clarity, whilst Terms and Conditions can sometimes be confusing they are designed to make the transport agreement between customer and service provider clear. As cargo owners it is important to understand the financial liability for insurance purposes in the event of a claim for loss or damage that is crucial to all customers. Although, these occasions are extremely rare, when this happens it is important to understand how your liability is managed and calculated in any event.
Over 70% of all global freight transported is under insured or not insured at all, so in the unfortunate event that a claim is necessary; there is already a high risk that your freight is not suitably insured.
